Begin with the End in Mind –
Educators, counselors and administrators want to be confident that their students are ready for life after high schoo9l. this workshop tackles the question of “What do we want our students to learn?” and highlights the connection between curriculum and the ACT College and Career Readiness Standards. In the workshop you will:
- study the test specifications to understand the content assessed by the ACT
- analyze key performance data to connect ACT scores with ACT College and Career Readiness Standards
- identify connection between the ACT College and Career Readiness Standards and your local standards and curricula.
Intended audience:
The intended audience will be school-based administrators, test administrators, teachers, and counselors and district administrators responsible for curriculum, counseling services, testing and accountability, or oversight of high schools
Begin with the End in Mind participants will need local curriculum documents or the ability to access them electronically.
