This two-session interactive workshop guides K-12 teachers, curriculum specialists, and school administrators through the development of a unit of study following Collaborative Curriculum Design, an evidence-based curriculum model. Participants in this two-session workshop series will experience hands- on learning as they build sample future-focused units of study. These units are anchored on standards and infused with formative learning opportunities, research grounded practices, and effective literacy strategies. Participants will have access to these rich resources after the sessions as they continue to develop units of study for their students and teach other educators in their districts about this innovative, future-focused model. This series is designed for participants to attend all four days from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Each day’s learning is built on the previous day’s work.
