Exploring Inquiry in the Elementary Classroom – Experience a fun, turnkey approach to tackling the new elementary science standards through inquiry. Participate in hands-on activities to learn how these activities build conceptual understanding through the use of the SEPs, incorporate literacy, and increase engagement. We will focus on an activity for each grade level (K-5) and dive into what it looks like for a student to be proficient in them.
The session will be facilitated by Rachael Polmanteer from the Center for Inquiry Based Learning.
Light refreshments will be available in the morning and lunch will be served on site. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions that we should accommodate. CEU certificates will be provided for participants.
